This year, the celebration was held at City Center Park with festivities running from Wednesday, July 1 through Saturday, July 4. Some of the activities included Movie in the Park, Kiddie Parade Ride Decorating, Family Night at the Carnival, Kids Magic Show, Face Painting, Minnesota Twins Youth Baseball Clinic, Business Expo, Taste of Chanhassen, a Fishing Contest, and a Classic Car Show. The city hosted an information booth on the comprehensive planning process on July 1st and 3rd. Community members contributed their thoughts and hopes for the future of Chanhassen.
